A LETTER FROM SADDLE UP CLOTHING COMPANY FOUNDER
Every meaningful journey begins with a choice—to step forward, even when the path isn’t fully clear.
For me, that journey began on horseback.
I grew up immersed in the rhythm of rural life—riding whenever I could, sketching pony portraits when I couldn’t, and learning early that hard work, heart, and dedication shape who we become. Horses taught me discipline. They taught me humility. And they taught me that progress happens one intentional step at a time.
Raised on a Minnesota dairy farm alongside a herd of fine horses, I developed a deep appreciation for land, freedom, and the grit it takes to stay the course. Those early lessons—rich in the saddle—shaped not only who I am, but the vision I would one day bring to life.
That vision became Saddle Up Clothing Company.
Established in 1999, Saddle Up was born from a lifelong love for horses and a respect for the lifestyle they inspire. What began as a personal passion grew into a brand rooted in authenticity, purpose, and forward motion.
Saddle Up Clothing Company comes straight from my heart. For decades, I’ve designed apparel meant to move with you—through barn mornings, long days, and moments of joy—blending style and swank, fashion and fun, and cozy comfort into a timeless equestrian spirit.
